gets a C$1.7B backlog jolt
Aecon's
majority-held consortium has won work on the Greenlight Electricity
Centre in Sturgeon County, Alberta. Aecon's share is around C$1.7B,
part of a roughly C$4.6B project with 932 MW of planned capacity.
Construction is expected to start in Q3 2026, with completion targeted
for 2030.

Ministers
unblock 18,000 homes through sewage capacity deal
UK ministers have
helped broker a deal with Anglian Water to unlock five major housing
schemes that were stuck because of wastewater capacity. The agreement
could free up roughly 18,000 homes, supported by a phased infrastructure
strategy including a new recycling centre, a strategic pipeline, and a
20-million-litre storage reservoir.

and into estimating, procurement, and supplier workflows.
